Each day, all around the world, people suffer and die because they lack the things so many of us take for granted. And each year, U.S. industries dispose of or destroy 22 million tons of basic, life-sustaining goods that are considered surplus, overstock, irregular or near expiration.

Gleaning For The World bridges the gap by obtaining needed supplies and providing them to humanitarian and mission organizations around the globe. Since our founding nine short years ago, GFTW has shipped more than 1,700 tractor-trailer loads of supplies to humanitarian organizations working in some of the most desolate locations in the world, including the U.S. Gulf Coast. We can ship more. We must ship more. But we need your help.

Gleaning For The World must incur the costs of transporting, sorting, packaging and preparing donations for shipment. For each load we send, GFTW must absorb about $1,000 in direct expenses. Sponsors are needed to ensure these vital supplies continue to reach the people who need them most.
